The collaborative way to crack the case!

We host you and your team, giving everyone an array of evidence to study in small, competing groups. In this Murder Mystery, our host is on hand, playing the part of of an expert witness. They are available to interrogate, quiz, and ask for more information throughout the event.

In this package you do the crime-solving, we do the acting. Enigmatic Events Collective hosts set the scene and share what we know about the mystery and the murder so far. Teams receive packages of proof and try to make connections: find details to trace suspect movement, uncover motives, and look for the unexpected. Cracking our Teamwork Mysteries isn’t just naming a suspect - it’s solving the whole case from motive to means of murder!

How it Works

In-person: As the organizer, you define a time and place for the challenge. You’ll need space for each team to cooperate and an area for our hosts to present the case to the whole group.

At the event, our hosts present the mystery. We introduce the crime, provide evidence packages, and let you start solving. Teammates must cooperate, collaborate, and communicate their ideas to problem solve together and crack the case. Guests can ask questions and request further information - which then might lead to more even more clues…

At some point, teams come to a final conclusion - and then present it to the other groups so everyone can see what others uncovered. The host then reveals the right answer - and congratulates the team whose accusation was closest to the truth!

Online: This format works well in Zoom Rooms. We can host you, split your teams into different rooms and share electronic copies of the documents to pour over. Perfect for distributed teams - we’ve run these mysteries for teams spread across Australia, Canada, Ireland and South Africa!
